How the AI hair color changer works

Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s newest image model, dyes your hair in the photo from the roots to the ends, with its own shine, and keeps your haircut and face. A photo takes 2 credits at 1K; your first is free.

What is the AI hair color changer?

It is a hair color filter that works on your own photo: pick a shade and Google’s Nano Banana 2.1 model dyes your hair from the roots to the ends, with natural shine, while your haircut, face, clothes and background stay as they are.

How can I see what a hair color would look like on me?

Upload a photo where your hair shows, pick a color and press “Change my hair color”. In about 10 to 30 seconds you get the same photo with the new color.

Can I try a color that is not on the list?

Yes. Pick the nearest one, then change the color in the words of the edit: “ash brown”, “blue”, “balayage”.

Is there a free hair color changer?

Yes: a new account gets 2 free credits, which make your first photo at 1K. More photos are 2 credits each at 1K, from one-time packs with no subscription.

Will my hair really come out that color?

It is a picture for deciding, not a salon result: real dye depends on your hair’s starting color and type. Try before you dye, then ask your colorist.

Does it work on men’s hair, and on grey hair?

Yes. Any length works, and grey or white hair takes a new color too.

Can I use it on a friend’s photo?

Only with their agreement, and only of adults. Never upload a child, a celebrity or anyone who did not agree. See the rules in the terms.
