From $0.25 an image at 1K. First image free.

The same person as a man, with short brown hair and the same smile, denim jacket and park.
Example Made here with Nano Banana 2.1 at 2K: “Swap this person's gender: show a woman as a man, or a man as a woman, as if they had been born that gender, with a natural hairstyle and face to match. Keep the same eyes, skin tone, expression, clothes, pose, background and lighting, so it is clearly the same person. Photorealistic, not a cartoon.”

How the gender swap filter works

Nano Banana 2.1, Google’s newest image model, redraws the face and hair as the other gender, with the eyes, smile, clothes and background kept. A photo takes 2 credits at 1K; your first is free.

  1. Add a photo of you

Face to the camera, in good light. One person in the photo works best.

  2. Press “Swap my gender”

The same edit works both ways: a man becomes a woman, a woman becomes a man.

  3. Download and post

Your other self in about 10 to 30 seconds, ready for TikTok or Instagram.

The woman in the example is AI-generated: no real person’s photo went into it. More edits in the studio.

Gender swap filter questions

What is the gender swap filter?

It is the trend of seeing yourself as the opposite sex. Upload one photo here and Google’s Nano Banana 2.1 model redraws your face and hair as a man or a woman, while your eyes, smile, clothes and background stay as they are.

Does it work male to female and female to male?

Yes, with the same button: it shows a man as a woman and a woman as a man. To steer it, change the words, such as “long hair” or “a short beard”, before you press it.

Is there a free gender swap filter?

Yes: a new account gets 2 free credits, which make your first photo at 1K. More photos are 2 credits each at 1K, from one-time packs with no subscription.

Will it still look like me?

That is what the edit is written for: the same eyes, skin tone, expression, clothes and background, so it is clearly you. If it does not look like you, remake it once for free.

Can I post it on TikTok or Instagram?

Yes. Download it and post it, or put it beside your real photo. Say it is made with AI where the app asks.

Can I use it on a friend’s photo?

Only with their agreement, and only of adults. Never upload a child, a celebrity or anyone who did not agree, and never use it to mock anyone. See the rules in the terms.
